Wareham Historic District Commission

The Wareham Historic District Commission is a town appointed commision responsible for protecting the integrity of the town's three historic districts. All construction, alteration or demolition of any building in an historic district must be approved by the Historic District Commission.

Historic Districts:

Center Park &
Parker Mills Historic Districts
-Covers the area around Old Town Hall and the Tremont Nail Factory

Narrows Historic District
-focuses on the historic waterfront area on Main Street near Besse Park
